About MyR
MyR was established in 2024 with the following objectives:
- To provide a platform for future and early-career rheumatologists to network, and collaborate in the fields of education, research, and social outreach.
- To offer opportunities for increased international collaboration and participation within international MNOs, particularly within the APLAR community and APLAR Young Rheumatologist(AyR).
- To promote and facilitate research, clinical fellowships, and student exchange programs with other internation rheumatology bodies/societies.
- To encourage the participation of members in events related to the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology and MyR.
- To identify and nurture future leaders for the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology.

Membership

All Rheumatology trainees or consultants who are members of the Malaysian Society of Rheumatology (MSR) and are aged 45 or younger will automatically become members of MyR.

MyR membership is valid until the age of 46 (on the members Birthday).
